I created this website back in September 2014 as a platform to share my travel stories, tips & tricks, and valuable resources with friends, family, and everyone else! Travel is by far my biggest passion in life, and my goal is to inspire others to book a flight, pack their bags, and explore somewhere new!
My name is Dave Anderson, and I’m from Anaheim, California. Ever since I studied abroad in Rome during my junior year in college, I knew that I had a passion for international travel. I’ve currently been to 38 countries spread over 4 different continents. I’ve lived in Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Thailand, and Malaysia all in the past four years. I’m currently living in Sydney, but have no idea how long I’ll be here, or where I’ll be going next…

Jones Around The World is all about my international adventures, travel inspiration, budget backpacking tip, and helpful resources. My main goal is to inspire YOU to get out there and explore the world.
Traveling has changed my life, and I love being able to share my experiences with people through this blog. I’ve been a lot of different places around the world, and am constantly being asked for recommendations on places to stay, where to eat, and how to travel around.

Where I’m from in California, there is not a strong emphasis on international travel.
