Each unit features a terrace and dining area, luxury linens, and ample space, and there’s a restaurant on-site. The grounds are also pet-friendly.

This hostel is truly a one-off, and you’re unlikely to find a similar experience anywhere else. Choose from a stay in a bunk bed in an old train carriage, or rent one of the ultra-cool Airstreams or mobile homes to have all to yourself. They are so unbelievably cool and modern and are all located in a unique indoor setup. BaseCamp Bonn also offers free daily breakfast, a bar, free wifi, a communal kitchen, an indoor beer garden and BBQs.
Bonn is a western German city that is simply beautiful and known for being the home city of Beethoven, and you can even visit his birthplace. BaseCamp Bonn is located 2km from the Rhine River, which flows through the city, and there are many local amenities right near the hostel. The city of Cologne is just 30 minutes away.

Choose from a mountain cabin or one of the coolest glamping options I’ve seen – their amazing “sleeping barrels”. With space to sleep up to three, these barrels are fully furnished, comfortable, cozy and guarantee a unique glamping experience. The view from the barrels is exceptional. The site also offers wellness facilities, a sauna and a bistro.
The Alps serve as your backdrop at Camping Resort Zugspitze. In winter, a magical winter wonderland awaits, and in summer, you’ll love the hiking and outdoor activities on offer. Zugspitze Mountain is the tallest in Germany. The stunning Austrian city of Innsbruck is just over an hour away, and makes for a picture perfect day trip.

There’s a large swimming pool on-site, plus unique igloo saunas.
Hike and bike in the valleys of this gorgeous German region. The riverside town of Wurzen is your quintessential German town, traditionally beautiful and packed with amenities. The major city of Leipzig is 45 minutes away, while the historic city of Dresden is 90 minutes.

There’s 13 restaurants and bars on-site, spa services and their glamping accommodations are a mixture of African-style glamping tents, huts and traditional rooms. It’s just so cool!
Tropical Islands is the main destination for visitors to the village of Krausnick, which is just 60km from the capital, Berlin. You won’t have to leave this giant dome to have the best glamping vacation ever!

Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen is already a wildly popular African-style wildlife park in Germany, and now they’ve taken the experience to the next level with overnight glamping accommodations to treat yourself to! The park offers a range of lodge-style accommodations, all on their own individual areas of the sprawling park, to suit a range of prices and styles. There’s the Safari Lodge camp, the Adventure Lodge camp, the Tongasoa Lodges with a valley view, the lakeside Tent Lodges, the Jungle Lodges (with monkeys for neighbors!) and the Masai Mara and Ranger Lodges, where you’ll get up close and personal over breakfast with the animals that call this park home.
This incredible safari and glamping experience is the primary draw for the town of Hodenhagen, which is nestled in the countryside of Lower Saxony, 45 minutes from the city of Hanover and an hour from Bremen.
