Looking for the best hostels in Langkawi? I’m here to help!
While Langkawi has long been a resort destination popular with families and couples…backpackers are catching on to all the island has to offer- including laid back vibes, turquoise waters, and tax free alcohol. Whether you’re keen to explore 200-meter waterfalls, go trekking in ancient rainforests, or take a cable car for a panoramic view of the island (and often the coastline of southern Thailand), it’s easy to rent a scooter and explore all the sites on your own time. Langkawi isn’t known for its nightlife as much the Thai islands, but it offers a haven for nature lovers. Recently hostels have been springing up, allowing affordability for those of us going solo, and I have narrowed down the list to give you the best Langkawi has to offer!
1 ) Langkawi Dormitorio
Langkawi Dormitorio is located in the heart of Cenang, close to the most popular bars, shops and restaurants in town including the Red Tomato. This hostel is known for being clean, spacious and great for relaxation by the beach. Guests love the comfortable beds, air con, wifi, and Richard’s wonderful hospitality! This isn’t the most socially oriented option on our list, but it’s great for those looking to chill out for a few days.
