…but I’m more commonly known as my nickname/travel alias JONES. I’m originally from Southern California, but have made long-term travel into a lifestyle. I’ve lived in six different countries, love learning new languages, and have a strange obsession with hummus.
I started this blog in 2014 to document my experience while backpacking through Southeast-Asia while getting a Master’s Degree, but now it’s my full-time job and am always planning my next big adventure.
You’ll most likely find me scuba diving in the tropics, dancing until sunrise a music festival, or anywhere I can get an ice cold beer while watching the sunset. I’m also a travel, festival, and underwater photographer, so you’ll rarely find me without my camera. I’m on a mission to explore the world, live abroad, and make every day count.
