Planning a trip to Malaysia and looking for the best Airbnbs in Kuala Lumpur!? Well, you’re in luck, because a few years back I was actually based in Airbnb Kuala Lumpur (at the Regalia Condominium) during my year backpacking through Southeast Asia, and it’s one of my favorite cities in the region!
The capital of Malaysia is a beyond brilliant destination, and more and more ex-pats are flocking to this happening city to embrace the epic lifestyle it has to offer. Like many Asian cities, Kuala Lumpur is affordable, and you can live like royalty for a fraction of what I can in the States or other expensive Western countries. The city is vibrant and there’s something to explore around every corner. The weather is hot and steamy, the food is amazing, the locals are friendly and helpful, the shopping is world-class and the vibe is cosmopolitan.

And for when you need to chill away from the concrete jungle, you can jet off to a nearby tropical island or rustic village escape with ease. Kuala Lumpur is the place to be, and 14 million visitors per year can attest to that!
So whether you’re planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur for a weekend getaway, or looking for a comfortable KL Airbnb to begin your two-week Malaysia trip, my list of the best 18 Airbnb KL rentals is where you’ll find the stay of your dreams! My personal recommendation would be to stay at any of the plethora of Airbnbs in the Regalia Condominium (the iconic rooftop infinity pool), there are tons of other amazing options throughout the city!

It’s so close, it’s hard to believe two epic cities are located so near to each other!
Guest review: “Love the place! It is by far the best airbnb i have ever stayed in. If there’s any shortcoming, it’s just that we didn’t get to have the Twin Towers view due to the haze (not their fault but it’s unfortunate). The host made me feel welcome and the check in was so easy with the manual instruction was given early. The host also communicated via text hence made it so easy. The deco is wonderful and the hone really feels so home-y, even though it’s technically a bachelor’s pad. Wish could have stayed longer but only had a weekend to stay. Not exaggerating but if I were to have my own bachelor pad, I would want it to look like this unit with its very minimalist design and deco.” – Faiz
